This webpage is dedicated to 'The Gwitchen' fans who have presented their artistic presentations to the author, Grin Olsson in the common goal to make the story of the little red light elves named Gwitchen into both a book and a motion picture.
The Gwitchen trilogy began late one winter, in the Northern lands by the Northern sea, when the author met a man of the Native clan who was poverty striken and has no money to purchase his child a Christmas gift. Grin Olsson had already written the short version of the "little people" and feeling sad for this man, he gave him a copy of the story, which had no illustrations at all. The man was delighted and gave the story to his child as a gift.
By word of mouth, this gift to this man, reached many other poor people who were in a similar financial situation. And, so by the time Christmas had arrived GrinOlsson had given out over fifty copies, simply bundled with staples. Many of the parents of these chldren who recieved this gift, came back and wanted a second Gwitchen story. In fact, they pestered the author constantly to the point of irritating him.
So, he wrote a "Second Gwitchen Journey". And, to Grin Olsson's dismay, they loved the story too, but asked for yet a third Gwitchen story because he left them hanging in suspense. They wanted to know about the "ancient scrolls". And, so he wrote, "The Gwitchen Struggle For Peace". The parents were finally satisfied making comments such as, "That will work!" and "This is Great!".
And, from this beginning, Grin Olsson incorporated all three of the Gwitchen stories and wrote the book 'Grin Olsson's Fairytales'.
The first artist to read the stories to be copyrighted and published in 'GrinOlsson's Fairytales' book and make her artistic submission from her visionary perception of the new and original characters was Marie Kellmer. Grin Olsson's Fairytales contains a trilogy of the little red Gwitchen light elves quest looking to find their land of peace and continue the search for the lost clan of peaceful humans.
And, on this quest, to whisper words of Peace in the ears of humans while they sleep, so the humans will learn, teach, and know the power of the word called, Peace!
The transparent red Gwitchen Light Alfr (Elves) have recently been incorporated and added to GrinOlsson's Asgard series, as new characters, called the Alfr. In ancient mythological sagas and stories, the first and only red light alfr or elf was Delling. He stood guard and greeted visitors to the mansion of Baldur. Later, the author Grin Olsson recreated the story and journey of the little people, on another adventure for the children of Central America, in his two new books, The Power of the word called Peace and El Poder de la palabra llamada Paz.
This page with the original drawings, sketches, and artwork is the visual story about what 'The Gwitchen' are about and why this story should be made into a motion picture!
