GrinOlsson's Kraken begins after over a thousand years have passed. Unknown to mankind, an alien oceanic invasion by the Zy have created biological troop carriers using the 200 foot long wolf eels also known in ancient days as a Kraken, Nidhogg or Midgard Serpent. For the first in modern history, this oceanic serpent creature is video recorded attacking a large whale. Abruptly, the serpent turns, looking directly at one of the shipboard Captains and screeches the word "Kraken" so loud that its screech echoes vibrates through the air. Stunned by a sea serpent that has the ability to talk, the Captain, naval convoy, and indeed the World are soon to learn what the word "Kraken" really means!
Martjin de Man, a musical composer from the Netherlands, who read the screenplay made a submission of an orginal 'Kraken' theme that he composed, which can be heard and reviewed here: Play Kraken Theme.
Robert Ives of Canada submitted the 3-D illstration of GrinOlsson's Kraken. Michael Garcia of Australia created the book covers for the entire GrinOlsson series. The drawings created for the storyboard are by Douglas Ortega and Rosa Fuentes of Arte Creativo Aerografico of Costa Rica.
